Delivery times, terms and conditions
Dispatch and delivery
All published books are routinely held in stock, and will normally be dispatched within 5 working days of receipt of order.
Orders placed for books in advance of their publication date will be treated as 'subscription' orders. Payment will be debited when the order is placed, and the book supplied as soon as it becomes available. Please note that estimated publication dates are subject to change.
UK shipments:
1. Single book orders and light weight parcels are sent by Royal Mail (2nd class)
2. All orders weighing in excess of 2 kilos are sent by 48 hour courier
Europe and Rest of World:
All orders are sent by regular airmail post; delivery to Western Europe is expected to take 5-10 business days from date of dispatch; delivery elsewhere is expected to take 10-20 business days from date of dispatch.
Payment
DEBIT AND CREDIT CARDS
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, MAESTRO, DELTA, ELECTRON.
Payments are processed through our secure on-line server, Sagepay.
OTHER METHODS OF PAYMENT - We accept payment by most other methods such as cheques and bank transfers. Cheques IN STERLING for the amount shown on the order should be made payable to 'Kewbooks' and sent with all relevant details to:

Order Confirmation
If you order from this website you will be emailed a confirmation if your order has been successfuly processed. If you do not receive a confirmation please ring us on 017683 41899 or email us at kewbooks.com@btinternet.com
Non-Delivery of Goods or Complaints
Please report any damages to us at once. All claims for non-delivery should be made to us within 14 days of receiving order confirmation for UK orders and and within 30 business days for overseas orders. We are NOT insured for claims made outside these delays, and any compensation payments in such an instance will be made entirely at the discretion of Kewbooks.

We will investigate your complaint and report back to you within 21 days. If this is not possible we will write to you explaining why and letting you know when you may expect a response.This does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancellation
Any order can be cancelled within 7 days of receipt. A refund will be issued within 21 days of the item being received by us in the condition in which it was despatched by us. If you wish to cancel your order we will ask you to pay the costs of returning the item.
DATA PROTECTION
Kewbooks hold details of customer names, addresses, and email addresses for the purposes of maintaining an in-house mailing list accessible to, and for the use of Kewbooks and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew only. Such information is securely held, and kept strictly in accordance with the guidelines of the Data Protection Act. Kewbooks do not request, or keep on file, any personal information or customer details other than as described above.
